We are looking for a talented Appian Developer to partner with key stakeholders and drive efficiency via Appian. This role can be remote or based in any of our US Argo offices. Designs, develops, and implements custom software solutions using Appian's low code platform. Designs full stack applications from modeling the database schema, to building out the user flows, to creating UX mock-ups and interfaces. Gathers requirements and analyzes stakeholders' business strategy and business processes to develop corresponding technical solutions that provide an intuitive user experience. Builds and invokes web APIs to integrate with various systems that are used across the organization such as social media platforms, policy administration systems, claims systems, finance systems, etc. Provides demonstrations of solutions built on Appian platform to business stakeholders, project sponsors, and prospective users. Triages and troubleshoots Appian application specific production issues and provide ongoing support to various business applications. Provides senior level system analysis design development and implementation of workflow management system implemented using the Appian platform Translates technical specifications and/or logical and physical design into code for new or enhancement projects for internal clients Develops code and test artifacts that reuse subroutines or objects that are well structured and backed by automated tests, including sufficient comments for ease of maintenance Creates appropriate test artifacts, ad hoc queries, and reports Employs contemporary software development techniques to ensure tests are implemented in a way that supports automation Elevates code into the development test and Production environments Provides follow up Production support, manages change control requests and documentation Evaluates emergent use cases and makes reliable recommendations concerning Appian fit Facilitates governance related coordinating development and release of multiple applications on the Appian platform About You You have 3
years of job experience in software development using Appian. You have or qualify for Appian certification at level 2 or higher. You have a BS in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent professional experience. You enjoy working with stakeholders to define business processes and gather functional system requirements. You are not an order taker; you ask why questions to identify and solve the right problems. You can effectively communicate both technical and non-technical topics with people of differing objectives and perspectives, and are not afraid either to voice your opinion or to change your mind based on input from others. You feel empowered and able to cope with change and handle uncertainty, and are willing to take action without having the total picture. You have strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and timely follow-through. You are motivated to provide guidance and successful mentoring to less experienced teammates. Preferred Skills:
Solid experience with Agile software practices Proficiency with programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Ruby, .Netetc. Experience with Appian 20.1 and above, Ability to write complex Appian SAIL expressions. Experience with relational databases (MySQL or similar) Experience with enterprise systems, e.g., CRM Experience developing integrations using REST APIs. Knowledge of Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance operations a plus
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Software DevelopmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
